Congratulations to Marcus Kong for his 1st Place victory in the 2005 MGA Fall Classic. This marks Marcus' 2nd win this year! Let's read about what he had to say about his day at Tilden Park Golf Course.

1) Did you have a personal goal going into the 1st tee box?
No, not really.

2) What was the most memorable moment of the day?
I'd say watching my friend Russ pull driver on the par-3 11th hole. That was just a ridiculously long par 3. It was like 240 yards.

3) What was the most challenging part of your round?
Did I mention long par 3's? The par 3's at Tilden Park are tough enough from the whites but taking them back another 20-30 yards to the blues made the pretty intimidating.

4) If you were to play this round again, what would you change about your game?
I need to learn how to chip uphill. I think I did this 3-4 times. I'd be within 20 feet and misjudge the affect of the slope and still end up being 7-8 feet short.

5) What did you think about Tilden Park and the conditions of the course?
This is a fun course. My ankles are usually sore the next day from all the uneven lies, but you get to see some amusing bounces here.

6) What was your "go-to" club that day?
My putter treated me well. I won it from MGA a few years ago. I had a couple of 1-putts and a couple of 3-putts but mostly 2-putts.
